Bonjour, Welcome to Mikhadou! 

I’m so glad you’ve found your way here, I can’t wait for you to get to know us better and experience the wonderful benefits of babywearing.  My name is Laura, a mom of two wonderful kids, Mikha and Sabine. Becoming a mother for the first time was both a joy and a challenge, especially as we live in Bandung, Indonesia, which is far from family support. Babywearing became a lifeline for us, allowing me to stay active (and happy!) while keeping my baby close and comforted. 

I started Mikhadou in 2017 when Mikha was born. Back then, it was just an idea—a dream that I pitched to my husband, Agam, every single night. “I need to make baby carriers that are not only comfortable and safe but also chic, so parents can feel confident and stylish while nurturing their little ones,” I’d say. And now… here we are!

Our journey is not always easy (yeah, same as parenthood) but we made it through with all of your love including support from lovely  public figures who really enjoy babywearing such as Jennifer Bachdim, Chelsea Olivia, Andien, Raisa, Rianti Cartwright, Putri Marino, Sabai Dieter, Tiara Pangestika and we can proudly say your 5-star reviews made an impact! The name "Mikhadou" comes from "Mikha Doudou," which means "Dear Mikha" in French—a little nod to the love that started it all.
